BACKGROUND
On April 30, 2001, the Town of Arlington's Board of Selectmen voted
to form the Transportation Advisory Committee (T.A.C.) to assist
them in suggesting inventive ways to deal with the myriad of parking,
traffic and transportation issues in the Town. In the spring of 2000,
Town Meeting voted to support funding for a transportation study. The
T.A.C. would also serve in an advisory capacity in conjunction
with the study that is now in progress.
